Just-Sharing: Penipuan Negara Adidaya Terhadap Dunia Lewat Lagu Wavin Flag-Anthem FIFA World Cup 2010

Wavin Flag adalah lagu yang di pilih sebagai athem FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010 untuk mengusung pesan-pesan dan semangat piala dunia 2010 saat lagu tersebut berhasil mencapai Billboard’s Canadian Hot 100 pada February 2010. Versi gubahannya yang di rilis pada 30 April 2010 itu menggusung tema perayaan (celebration), dan karenanya ia diberi label pelengkap “Celebration Mix” di belakang judul aslinya. selain celebration, lagu tersebut juga mengkampanyekan persatuan (Unity) antarbangsa di dunia, serta persahabatan yang diwujudkan lewat kompetisi dunia tersebut. Disinilah uniknya, di balik kesan perayaan sekaligus kompetisi akbar dunia yang diusung oleh Anthem FIFA World Cup 2010, Versi asli lagu tersebut sebenarnya menyampaikan pesan sosial yang mendalam, yakni tentang
perang yang tak kunjung usai.

Penulis dan pelantun lagu tersebut, K’naan (Keinan Abdi Warsame) adalah seorang penyanyi Rap dan Musisi asal Somalia, sebuah negara di Afrika Timur yang penduduknya belum bisa tidur nyenyak akibat perang sipil berkepanjangan di Mogadishu serta pemerintahan yang tak kunjung diagungkan.

Melalui single Wavin’ Flag, pada awalanya K’naan menyuarakan permasalahan sosial yang di alaminya dan warga Somalia lainnya akibat perang sipil yang terjadi sejak 1991 hingga sekarang, serta kritik pada negara-negara yang memperkeruh konflik dan mengobarkan perang di berbagai belahan dunia.

Berdasarkan pernyataan K’naan tentang ia dan negaranya, Amerika Serikat adalah (salah satu) negara yang di kritiknya lewat lagu tersebut. Hal tersebut bertolak belakang dengan gegap-gempita semangat persatuan antarbangsa yang digaungkan Amerika Serikat (lewat lagu Coca-cola) melalui Anthem FIFA WORLD CUP 2010.

Dari dua lagu tadi bisa simpulin sendiri dari makna pesan kalimat yang Celebration dan original sangat berbeda jauh, yang celebration menggambarkan persatuan antar bangsa dan yang original menggambarkan tentang pesan sosial dan peperangan yang terjadi di somalia..ironis sekali, di satu sisi kita ber euforia untuk merayakan World Cup di satu sisi ada negara yang sangat membutuhkan uluran tangan dari negara2 adidaya atau negara besar, tapi apa lagu yang harusnya menyadarkan dan mengkritik negara2 besar untuk membantu negara yang kesusahan malah di jadikan lagu persatuan bangsa demi mewujudkan citra negara besar tersebut, sungguh ironis sekali, sedih melihat kenyataan kaya begini .
